I don't have to either find or dust off my favorite menorah; it's always on display (it's the first thing you see when you come into my house). It's made of glass; the edges act as a prism, scattering the sunlight that comes in from the high windows. This is Art Appreciation 101.
Well, okay, I admit it; I don't burn the Chanukah candles in this menorah. It's a farkochn a kasche (a messy, problematic chore) to clean out the wax; if you had this menorah (oooh, so sorry; I think it's a one-of-a-kind), you'd instead buy a sturdier one and burn candles in IT . . . and just appreciate the glass one.
